The Story of Boo's Place
My very first best friend was a dog named Boo. She was there when I was brought home from the hospital. She was paralyzed by a horse on a trip to Tennessee before we moved in ‘99, and she never made it up here with us. Boo was my first dog goodbye. I was 12 years old, and I’ll never forget it.
Fifteen years later, I came across this 4-week-old runt on her way to the pound. I was 2 hours away and sped to get her. The only name that I could think of was Boo, and she became Boo #2. I’m all Boo has ever known. My oldest dog, Daisy, spent her little days in her first home, and Apollo was my husband's dog when we met. Boo has always been a dog I never have to worry about bringing other animals around. She's the only one that'll curl up with the cats and rabbits.
She's never been an only pet and has always shared her home.
She is one of the quirkiest, smartest, loyal, and most unique dogs I’ve had. She’ll be a hard one to say goodbye to. Boo’s Place is a tribute to my very first best friend and my current best friend.

What We're About
We do things our own way, and I take pride in that. After researching boarding and daycare, I realized the importance of focusing on the cons and personal experiences of customers. I took these insights, envisioned the perfect setup for my own dogs, and created Boo's Place.
- No crates. We've built 10 indoor stalls in various sizes for different breeds. Each stall has a solid wood gate with a double latch system to prevent breakouts. The lower 2.5 feet of the stall walls are lined with tin to prevent damage. Your dog has plenty of room to move around and can't see other dogs, reducing stress and anxiety.
- We require ALL dogs who enter our building to have proof of vaccinations with Rabies and Bordetella.
- We charge by the stall size. We will NEVER house your dog with another dog outside of their household.
- Our boarding prices are all inclusive and all the dogs get the same perks. We don’t charge extra fees either. If your dog needs meds, I'll make sure they get them. Want hourly picture updates? You got it. Your dog won't be locked in a stall all day with just a few potty breaks. They go out every couple of hours for as long as they want. We make sure your dog is happy and gets leash walks around the property too. All this extra time outside reduces accidents that I don't have to clean up!
- Any dog can become overstimulated and reactive. We want to prevent uncomfortable interactions and confrontations by avoiding group play. We want your dog to feel safe and comfortable at Boo's Place.

Hey there! I'm Cassie.
With a wealth of experience and a deep love for animals, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I've had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of animals throughout my life and it’s what I love doing.
Before diving into the world of pet care, I was a Massage Therapist, and I have just graduated from a Veterinary Assistant program. My husband, Travis, and I have a 5-year-old son, Max, and together we care for 31 animals of our own.
